Hello friends,
As the saying goes, “All good things come to an end.” However, I have to disagree! My time with JDRF North Florida, and all of the experiences, has been outstanding! I could not ask for a better group to work with. Brooks, Lauren and Pam are excellent mentors and coworkers. In my six months here, I’ve felt like a family member.
I’d like to begin by expressing my appreciation and gratitude to every superhero that attended the 2013 Walk to Cure Diabetes! It was such a fantastic event with an exceptional turnout. It was with the help of sponsors, committee members, volunteers and walkers that JDRF North Florida could put on the event it did.
Let the final countdown begin!
Time is certainly flying by. Can you believe that THIS Saturday is the Walk to Cure Diabetes in Jacksonville? There are only 5 days remaining before the Walk begins, and JDRF staff and committee members are diligently finalizing last-minute plans and details for the Walk.
Some are red, some are white, and some are even a blush color. Vino, or wine, comes from many different parts of the world ranging from cabernet to merlot, pinot, zinfandel and Bordeaux.
On Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 8 to 10 p.m., you have the opportunity to attend a regal wine tasting event with JDRF and The Fresh Market in Mandarin. For $25 you have the opportunity to sample 40 marvelous wines and fabulous appetizers!
