Kids School Program
The JDRF Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes program is one of the fastest growing fundraisers and takes place all over the country. It's a great way to educate kids, teachers, and other school staff about T1D and healthy lifestyle choices while raising money at the same time! We are currently booking schools for the 2012-2013 school year and you won't want to miss out!

How the Program Works
- JDRF staff and volunteers will visit your school and teach all students (either during class periods or during an assembly) about diabetes and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Students spend two weeks collecting funds and raising awareness of JDRF and T1D- the goal for each student is to raise $10!
- After the two weeks, JDRF staff and volunteers will return to your school to hold a Walk to Cure Diabetes on campus and collect important money raised for diabetes research!
JDRF North Florida has worked closely with many schools in Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Camden Counties and has raised over $30,000 from the program!
